Finally, Jay-Z has proven to us why he is still one of the best rappers in all of hip hop. Just when you thought he was becoming irrelevant and had forever yielded the spotlight to the likes of Kanye West and Lil’ Wayne, he delivers this aggressive track which has a underlying message of “I’m back and more mature than ever”. Kudos Mr. Carter, kudos.
Former NFL quaterback, Steve McNair was found shot to death along with a yet to be identified female on Saturday afternoon in the star’s downtown Nashville condominium. This is very sad news as he was one of my favorite quarterbacks that I’ve seen play the game. My condolence go out to all of his family and friends during this tragic time.
Finally. Jay-Z has decided to actually make worthwhile songs again. (Note: Jay-Z and Lebron James are officially butt-buddies)

Last night , BET tried to simultaneously put on an awards and tribute show but instead, only succeeded in creating a mockery of both black people and Michael Jackson. There were some positive highlights (Ne-Yo’s solo performance and Beyonce’s rendition of Ave Maria to name a few) but in all, the show had the look and organizational feel of a glitzy talent show (think Star Search) than a professional awards ceremony. From Jamie Foxx’s parodic performance of the late King of Pop to T-pain’s incessively gaudy neckwear, the entire show was a total embarrassment. But hey, what else would you expect from BET?
If you thought it was risky to pull off a pink shirt, then this pink suit will have you re-writing your style bibles. Somehow, at the Cannes Film Festival, Brad Pitt manages to perfectly make a loud, but not excessive statement with color without looking like a pack of Skittles. He does it by keeping the cut classic and topping it off with an unexpected warm weather accessory.

I tell you, Obama really makes it hard to hate him, doesn’t he? In his ASU commencement speech, he is genuinely funny. (Not Dane Cook funny, but you know, the kind of funny that actually makes you laugh), all while driving home some important messages.
