The In Crowd – 4/29/08

It’s official. A release date for the sophomore album of Chicago’s hip-hop duo, Kidz in the Hall has been released. The late May release of their second effort features a motley group of artists from Phonte of Little Brother to Travis McCoy of Gym Class heroes. Naledge, the group’s only MC, has gone to even hail the album as “a definite classic for the Hip-Hop lover.” I think this statement is a little grandiose considering the fact that the public has not yet had a chance to listen to the album. But after listening to their freshman release, “School Was My Hustle”, he might not be far from the truth. Check out the first single from the album entitled Driving Down the Block (Low End Theory) featuring Masta Ace and see if there is any validity in Naledge’s statement.
